IndieCommerce is built using Drupal, an open-source content management system. Drupal itself is built and contributed to by thousands of programmers around the world. ABA’s technology staff has modified (and continues to modify) existing Drupal modules and to develop new ones, to create a customized environment for independent booksellers.
